Today I am going to research how to prepare for a studio session for tomorrow and also practise my lyrics for Medusa.
I have for the first half of the lesson researched how to prepare for a studio session. These are the websites I looked at for good advice, tips etc in preparation for my studio session. I also practised my lyrics too.
This relates to my project as I was preparing to record my lyrics in the studio so I wanted to research tips on how to make my first time recording my lyrics for my first official song the best use of that time and perform as good as I could.

I have found out from this research that some tips for preparing for a recording session to help your vocals include: Drinking warm tea or water with honey as it helps to stop the throat from getting sore, Drinking water with lemon also does a similar thing to honey. Another tip was to rest your voice the day before so its in perfect condition for singing, rapping etc. Also you won't lose your voice or get a sore throat from it. A third helpful tip was to eat something with sugar around 10-15 minutes before you go in to give you the extra energy boost you need to help perform to the best of your ability. I did this on the day of the recording session and leading up to it and it overall I feel that it enhanced my performance and stopped any issues to arise.
