7/06/18 FMP Research update

I have researched how to officially record my lyrics and produce them, then release the song as a d.i.y artist. I have Harvard referenced the website. It has very good tips to help you.

I have also researched how to get my songs on streaming sites like, Spotify, Google play, iTunes, Amazon music, Deezer etc. As a side note to help get my music out there and I have found a good website that does that as well as putting the songs on playlists related to the genre that you make and you keep all of the royalties that the song makes.

  I have researched these things as when I start to release songs I need to know how to get it to reach a large audience and how to get the most money and listeners possible as a D.I.Y artist. This links to my project because I was thinking to release my finished track/project and I wanted to find the best ways of releasing it and how It can reach a lot of people.

I have found out that you need to mix your track before you release it so it then makes the track sound more professional. Ive also seen sites that say to put my track on soundcloud, youtube, social media, and digital aggregators that can put my music on playlists on spotify, iTunes, google play, amazon music etc for me to get money from. From this research I decided to put my song on sound cloud but thats it at the moment I will start putting it on youtube, social media and I will get around too working with digital aggregators to get it on a lot more streaming platforms etc so a wider audience can reach it.
