Final Reflection
Throughout the whole 9 weeks of this project I started by writing out my proposal and time plan of what I was going to do in the creation of my track throughout the 9 following weeks. I started by researching what makes a trap beat/song and what instruments I need to use. I also looked at my favourite tracks of that genre to get an idea of what my finished track should sound like when its done. Some issues I came across throughout the project are when I didn't have the right bass line and I was still working on the melody however I did some research about it which helped me to swiftly overcome that problem. Another issue I came across was when I had planned and prepared to go into the studio last Friday but the person who was going to do it wasn't in so I had to do it on Monday instead. So I had to prepare for the session again and I had to adjust my time plan because of it I managed to fit in some extra research that linked to my project. But all in all I feel like that wasn't that much of an issue. I didn't have any other issues. Throughout the entirety of this project I learnt how to mix a track, use pitch correct and how to put ad-libs and have lyrics with a slight delay in them in the track. All in all Im fairly happy with my final track and how it has turned out. I am hoping that people will like it as its my first proper track I feel like its not that bad. I would maybe change the genre or use a bit more singing, make the beat a bit better and perfect the recording of my lyrics and the type of melody in a sense that the instrumental and my flow will sound better and my first verse won't sound that badly delayed next time delayed.
