Section 1: Rationale (Approx 100 words)
Before I started this course I already knew how to make a powerpoint presentation and present it to a class, how to make word document. I also knew how to make a beat and sequence using FL studio. This year I have learnt how to create loops and sequence beats in logic. I have also learnt how to use the loops and create beats in ableton and how to play songs using an Akai APC. I have also learnt how to work out the structure of a song by counting the bars as well as how to also research the certain type of song via websites, youtube etc I have also learnt how to what a P.A system was and how to set it up as well as researching different genres and how they started. I prefer to use Logic rather than ableton because I wanted to record my lyrics and produce the track on Logic so I can then put it on my soundcloud and social media rather than perform it live but I’d rather pre record my track with lyrics so I can put it on my social media instead of using the Akai APC. As it's better to progress my rap career with it. I know a lot more now then I did at the start of the course, it has widened my mind to good techniques music wise. They have influenced my decision to choose trap because I listen to a lot of that genre of music and it can fit into any type of song too. It is very popular and i’m going to rap and release tracks of this genre to get famous and they will be played quite often and it would make a lot of money. These skills relate to this project as it will help me complete my track and I will use a lot of these such skills in the production of it.
Section 2: Project Concept (approx 200 words)
The pathway I have chosen is Sequence. The composition and genre I have chosen to create is hip hop trap because I listen to a lot of that genre and it can fit into any type of song too. It is very popular and i’m going to rap and release tracks of this genre to get famous and they will be played quite often and it would make a lot of money. The aims of my project are to produce a trap beat and record my vocals in the recording studio to make a fully fledged song that i can put on my soundcloud and social media. I will have researched what my track instrumental will sound like. I will ask to be allowed to record lyrics in the studio. I will make the trap beat using samples from logic. I am going to achieve all of this by using logic and researching hiphop/trap beats and then I will use Logic to create it then I will write lyrics and record my lyrics in the studio if I can if not then it won't be as good but i'll still make the instrumental.
Section 3: Evaluation (approx 50 words)
I will continue to evaluate my project and document it into blogger every lesson. I will evaluate a few different songs of that genre to get an idea of what i’m making, I will also figure out there structure so I can get a good idea of what a track of that genre will be made up of so my produced track will be structured correctly. I will play the final produced track to my peers so they can then help give their thoughts so I can make a final review of my track before I fully release it. I will review my track in blogger.

I will use these youtube trap songs as examples of what beat and type song I will make. I will also watch tutorials on youtube by people who produce these type of beats to inspire me. I will also read books, magazines (future music/music tech magazines) and websites about trap music to help me.
